Two detached houses located in a culturally and historically sensitive area, adjacent to a protected farmstead with a SEFRAK-registered main house and barn. The project was developed in close collaboration with the developer and the city heritage officer, and is based on the site's distinctive character and historical qualities.
The dwellings are designed as a modern interpretation of traditional storehouses, and are subordinate to existing buildings in scale and expression. The placement of the buildings on the terrain gives a light and floating impression, with the ground floor oriented towards the views to the northwest and northeast.
The facade expression varies with vertical wood cladding on the ground floor and carved elements on the first floor, giving character and depth to the architecture.
