Replacement cabin on Hvaler, adapted to both the landscape and the users' needs. The building consists of two gable-roofed volumes, connected by a covered glass corridor. The solution provides a clear division between private and social functions.
One volume contains three bedrooms and a bathroom, while the other contains a kitchen, living room and lounge. The floor plan is space-efficient, with built-in furniture that makes good use of the square meters.
The cabin is made of solid materials and has a subdued aesthetic that harmonizes with its surroundings. Large windows provide views and daylight, while creating a connection between indoor and outdoor spaces.
